ABOUT

NUTRITION

It is my intention to discover brightness each day and share this light with the community.
Nature is my muse. I strive to see the world in awe. My favorite places to be are under the water, surrounded by trees, and in the kitchen. From in the pool to on the mat, and in all the places in between, I explore the dynamic properties of the human body through a holistic approach to wellness.I am a prospective Doctor of Physical Therapy (MGH Institute of Health Professions, Class of 2016). I currently work as a physical therapy aide, combining mindful movement with the art of healing to improve the lives of patients.

I obtained a B.S. in Nutrition while competing for The Ohio State University’s national champion synchronized swimming team. I love to share my knowledge and passion for the sport by coaching and offering educational clinics for swimmers across New England. In July 2011 I completed a 200hr yoga teacher training certification at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Wellness. I aim to teach swimmers and yoga practitioners to move mindfully for injury prevention as a complete mind-body practice.
